What are Microorganisms or Microbes?
A simple definition of microbes:
Microbes are single-cell organisms so small that we are able to see them only by a microscope. Microbes are everywhere. They are in the air we breathe, the ground we walk on, the food we eat and the house we live. Yes, they’re even inside us. There are thousands time more of them on a your intestine than there are people on the entire planet!
Most microbes are beneficial or harmless. They participate in the Earth’s element cycles like the carbon and nitrogen cycles. Microorganisms are involved in the production of oxygen, and decomposition. We use them to produce antibiotics. So only some microbes are parasites and cause human diseases. These harmful microbes are dangerous for the human body. They attack and infect human cell bodies and destroy them.
Microbes are divided into several types including bacteria (known as germs), fungi (known as mold in indoors), Protozoa (such as amoeba) and viruses (are not living things but infect living cells). Healthy Indoor Professionals provides Mold Inspection and Mold Testing services in Los Angeles
